How To Manage A Foley Catheter In A Monoplace Chamber

How to manage a patients foley catheter prior to entering the hyperbaric chamber. There are many policies and literature on how to address foley catheters prior to HBOT – most just say “vent the foley”. It’s easy to vent the foley and discover that the chamber bottom is filled with urine at the end of the treatment, this video will show you how to avoid such an accident. I hope you like the video.

By the way, to simulate urine in the bag we used apple juice and water.
